For Buckeye Community Bank’s Kim Kozlowski, the opportunity to connect with clients is what really sets the community bank apart.
“At Buckeye, we have the freedom and encouragement to connect with those we serve. It helps us serve better as partners in helping them achieve their goals,” said Kozlowski, who serves as Buckeye’s Mortgage Lending Specialist.
During the past several months, Kozlowski and her colleague Lou Calabrese have been busy as applications for new and refinanced mortgages have set new record demand.
“A lot of banks try to force customers into a predefined box that may not be what they need. Buckeye is invested in the community to help create local jobs, community businesses working toward a better life. Our clients are more than just someone we do business with, they also are our neighbors, operate the businesses we frequent and sometimes they become friends.”
After joining Buckeye in 2003, Kozlowski has spent time working in many aspects of the bank, including head teller, customer service, loan operations and mortgage lending. She also was a founding member of Buckeye’s Employee Relations Committee that works to lead community and employee interactions.
She and her husband, Kevin, live in Amherst and have two sons, Matthew and Jaycob.
